Government Polytechnic College is situated at Ambalakaranpatti - Kattakalapatti Village in Melur Taluk. This college was started in the Academic year 2009 - 2010 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The aim of the College is to provide quality technical education to the students of nearby hamlets. This college has 4 Diploma courses of 3 years duration.
